It's who you know at PayPal, not what you know

I worked at PayPal full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

    - Excellent benefits
    - Virtually near impossible to get fired unless you make huge mistakes

    Cons

    - As other reviewers have stated, it's a very political environment. It's more about who you know rather than how well you do in your job. I've seen a lot of people who were promoted that didn't really belong in that position because they were buddies with management.

    - Entry level positions are repetitive and get old fast.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to simplify and streamline your internal processes. I feel that David Marcus as CEO is doing a good job to turn things around. PayPal got lazy and needed a kick in the pants badly. There's still a lot of work that needs to be done though.
