Pros

Competitive salary. Great position in payments market.

Cons

Company focused. Not about the people. Don't give time to learn new technologies. Little work-life balance.

Listen to people that report to you.

    Pros

    Great products, I use them everyday. There is so much potential for Marketing to do great things if they could only have consistent leadership and get the organization to row in the same direction.

    Cons

    Constant re-orgs. Hi turnover of employees. Leaders are not aligned. Every year you get to solve the same problems over again with a different group of people.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Hire mature leaders with experience leading in mid to large sized organizations. The experiment of taking start-up entrepreneurs and putting them in charge of a large organization is not working.

    definign the future of payments, with a global scale
    great people
    genuinely trying hard to re-connect with more innovative and startup-ish culture

    Cons

    no clear priorities make execution a giant challenge
    poor culture of crossfunctional collaboration. If you can be self-sustaining, then you can suceed, if you need other teams to support, then very hard. makign crossfunctional decisions is really hard.
    while CEO David Marcus has left and not (yet) be replaced, the organization's challenges are multiplied.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Get an empowered COO. Oh, wait, get a CEO first.
