I have been working at Paychex full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Lack of anyone actually caring about their job. This makes for a great job if you are lazy and do not want to work hard as no one will actually hold you accountable.

    Cons

Poor Management, Poor Communication, Lack of Industry educated professionals,
too much middle management, new 'old' boys network-every time there is a senior management change (VP or above) which has been multiple times in the past 3 years they change the entire staff, direction and overall positioning of the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Become the Software company that you need to be to be successful. Get rid of middle management as Salesforce has relieved them of their positions. Pay your operations & sales people market rates and stop hurting our benefits so you can make stock options available to yourselves. It makes me sick to think that a $3 billion dollar company with 60-90 million in cash takes 10+ years to bring a new product to market and then proceeds to roll it out with less functionality than the legacy product. Any you get a raise?
