Cons

Loneliness at site (only allow one volunteer per site), boring trainings, lack of federal funding, difficult to affect lasting change

I worked at Peace Corps full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Experience of a lifetime, can find ways to benefit others, learn a lot about yourself

    Cons

It is often what you make of it, frustrations can lead to ineffectiveness

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Though I had few complaints with my country's program, in some countries PC has a reputation for not consistently providing the promised support to volunters.

    I worked at Peace Corps

    Pros

Mostly employed by returned peace corps volunteers which means the people are all widely diverse and share similar outlooks on life and work.

    Cons

Since it is a government agency, bureaucracy often gets in the way of projects and can cause slow completion of tasks and goals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Promote more cross office projects.
