I have been working at Pearl Izumi

    Pros

Discounts Reasonable pay (for what you do) Flexible hours, allows you to have a good work/life balance Promotes healthy lifestyle

    Cons

No real way to move up (many co-workers have tried), only full time or part time and the store you are at. Might be able to transfer, it would be at the same position you are currently at Management unorganized

    Advice to Management

Respect your employees a little more, allow them to move up in the company. Many people enjoy working for Pearl Izumi, they just get frustrated because there is no opportunity to move up.

    Pros

Company culture is extremely positive. All of my coworkers are friendly, helpful, and upbeat. Employees are encouraged to work hard and play hard, and to always have fun.

    Cons

Open floor plan office environment can be a little noisy at times. Small town is a moderate commute from neighboring cities. There are some office politics if you listen to anybody talk long enough, but they're easy to stay out of. Extremely long hiring process.

    Advice to Management

Continue to foster a strong, positive culture among your employees. We're climbing out of a slump in business, but increasing pay to be a little more competitive would help retain talent.
