A decent place to work.

ProsThe overall attitude of Pearson and its employees is fairly easy-going and promotes a sense of friendliness. The benefits package is solid. Management is generally understanding and willing to work with employees regarding both professional needs and allowing for personal needs when necessary.

ConsThere is a lack of upward mobility. This seems to be across the board. A steady stream of changes have kept the business from being able to move forward on a lot of internal projects. Many groups are left without any sense of real structure for years at a time. Its expected that everyone be satisfied with maintaining the status quo amongs the non-management employees.

Advice to Senior ManagementYou have a lot of smart employees with a solid understanding of their part of the business. It would benefit the company to take better advantage of that.
