Good place to work, with a lot of good people.

Software Engineer (Current Employee)
Chandler, AZ

ProsCulture and Lifestyle are good, with a positive goal for product development. Generally can be proud of what you are working on and it's impact on society.

ConsCareer advancement is limited. Pay hasn't kept pace with inflation even with positive reviews, and someone hired off the street will almost always be given more pay for the same job than someone hired internally. Makes it hard to justify not looking outside the company after a while.

    Project Manager (Current Employee)
    Boston, MA

I have been working at Pearson full-time

Pros: Great people, very flexible work schedule (support telecommuting, flextime), healthy annual bonus, global company… Cons: Company, or at least the division I worked in, uses very outdated technology and immature IT policies. Some duplication/disorganization in terms of vendor/supplier… Advice to Senior Management: Modernize and standardize corporate processes and technologies. More
