Pros

Simple work day. Basic customer service skills are easy.
Good for retirees or students.
Free water from the dirty water cooler.

Cons

Cheap, cheap, cheap. 11.00 - 13.00 an hour
Schedule changes constantly, sometimes really short shifts, no breaks on long shifts.
Last minute cancelled shifts.
No advancement, no benefits. No lunch breaks.
Sit, watch, clean. Repeat.

Advice to Management

Simple benefits, don't nickel and dime employees, candidates can be tough sometimes.

    Pros

Job was in a suburban location. Coworkers were the best.

People were not given education opportunities to advance their careers.

    Advice to Management

Give your existing staff the opportunities to move with Pearson as the emphasis changes to a global outlook
