    Pros

The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. The people you work with are helpful, team players. Great training and they have a lot of free online courses that can be taken for free anytime you want to expand you knowledge in a particular area. A lot of the employees are allowed to telecommute and meetings can be joined by all team members through the use a video chat platform.

    Cons

The hours in some of the temp positions are unpredictable. But this is not an issue for permanent full time positions.

    Good start, lousy ending

    Pros

Salary and benefits were above average.

    Cons

Laid off along with a bunch of others (from Austin office) without a word of notice that it might be coming. Unfriendly coworkers and at least one unbelievably non-congenial department head (of arguably the most visible department in the office).

    Advice to Management

Get Marjorie back. Get more stable local management. Let your employees know that layoffs might be coming rather than unceremoniously dumping them and forcing them to scramble to find work at the last minute and forcing them into months of unemployment, or try moving them to other positions within the company.
