Overall Pearson is a nice place to work

Senior Software Developer (Current Employee)
Iowa City, IA

ProsGreat flexibility, offers work from home. Overall good environment to work.

ConsThe opportunities are limited for employee to grow, promotions are given based on appearances under the worthless buzz word 'potential'.

Advice to Senior ManagementToo many random organization changes are confusing to employees. Senior management horribly lacks the depth of understanding the core business process and identifying employee's potential for putting right people in place. Poorly designed execution strategy when it comes to leading organization to a specific direction. i.e. they don't understand the problem (or ignore it) until they fall on the nose.
