People make the place

Technical Support Engineer (Current Employee) Rancho Cordova, CA

ProsThe people that work there are bright and easy to get along with. Flexibility of hours.

ConsLack of career advancement. Too much red tape. Inhospitable environment for submitting new ideas.

Advice to Senior ManagementAllow all levels of software specialists to submit ideas. The School Systems Software division is unable to respond quickly to changes in the market and is being bogged down by the 'overhead' of the publishing garbage. The software division should be allowed to run like a software division, not like a cog in a bureaucracy.
