It is what it is

Shift Lead (Current Employee) San Jose, CA

ProsIt's a good place to work. Nice customers, fun atmosphere, cool culture. Great benefits and perks. Flexible scheduling for the most part.

ConsSometimes management is cliquish and will choose to promote based on personal preference rather than merit or time put in. Overall a good company, but I wish that HQ would spend more time perfecting speciality coffee and tea rather than adding a bunch of new products and sugary drinks. I feel like it has gone from Peet's Coffee and Tea to Peet's Oatmeal and Freddos....

Advice to Senior ManagementPay more attention to your employees and what they need.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

    Crap.

Shift Lead (Current Employee) Sacramento, CA

I have been working at Peet's full-time for more than a year

Pros: *Free Half Pound of Coffee every week * Kick ^%* Discount card (free drip coffee or ice tea… Cons: So to begin Shift Lead's get the shortest stick of all. Shift leader's are the cash controller 24/7. Shift Leader's also are almost entirely responsible… Advice to Senior Management: Stop letting the Shift Leads run the store, give them better raises to create and incentive to do more. The Shift… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
