Pegasystems – “Overall satisfied but salary could be better”

Pros

The engineering division lays very high emphasis on hiring only cream and most of the folks have been hired from product companies. Pay could be better as they are comparing themselves to Googles and Yahoos. The people are great to work with. Engineering leadership is strong and takes keen interest in work. Rest of department are new and have no leadership presence.

Cons

HR is almost missing here. Grand Celebration of Christmas and no celebration of Republic Day suggest HR is only celebrating so we can be in news. That was evident from newspapers covering the celebration.

Advice to Senior Management

Product direction is missing as there is no product management presence in India. Need to have product management key personnel visit India and share vision.
