Stable, good opportunities, great benefits

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsPositions are stable, there are many openings all over the university if you decide to change jobs, great benefits (especially vacation days and retirement), wonderful small town to live in.

ConsManagement is mostly people who have been there for ages, so not a lot of management skill or expertise, new ideas are slow to take off, still too much small town mentality for my preference.

Advice to Senior ManagementHire people with proven success in management, or send your managers to high quality management training programs.
