I worked at Penn State University

    Pros

Living expenses are low in the town, good small town to raise kids, a lot of outdoor activities
Good benefits, that's why many people cut down and go there

    Cons

Too much politics, many brown-nosers, If you are not worshiping the queen you are doomed!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be fair and treat people like they are human beings not your ladder steps to get you higher!

I worked at Penn State University part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    Work with your class schedule.

    Cons

I was underpaid. The department was hostile resulting in several employees quitting meaning we were short staffed for most of the year. Complaints were not met well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't have team workshops where different departments are doing the same job and one is getting paid less, students are chatty about that sort of thing.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
