I have been working at Penny Lane full-time

Pros

The best reasons were the kids who this agency serves. Nothing else comes close.

Cons

The staff here were condescending, the supervisors were incompetent, and more interested in their paychecks than serving the kids in the surrounding area. I never worked in an agency with such short-sighted, and narcissistic therapists! At times it was as if the inmates were running the asylum. I would never recommend this agency to anyone whatsoever. I left and found a much better position where I am treated with respect and valued for my insights. Penny Lane is pathetic!

    Pros

Good company to gain entry level experience. Large organization within the non-profit Group Home sector.

    Cons

Value of employees based primarily on factors other than quality of work, ability, and education. Cultural and value flaws.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Identify top staff in all positions and set them up for success. Also, identify poor staff in all positions and take necessary actions.

I worked at Penny Lane full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

There are a lot of trainings provided and everything is done by standards. Jackie Miller tries very hard to accomodate and make it an enjoyable center for teachers.

    Cons

The pay wasn't as high as should be for the work and dedication put in by the teachers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Raise the pay of the employees.
