I worked at Penske as an intern (less than an year)

Pros

As soon as you start your thrown into real work and actually have tasks that you must do daily. It gave me a sense of entitlement and i felt like I contributed to the team. FREE lunch every day. Very friendly co-workers

Cons

None, maybe a little down time here and there but its not bad.

I worked at Penske full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good co workers, pay is ok, truly hire from within.

    Cons

    Well...
Be prepared to be pushed to your limit every single day. Company is driven by numbers, better utilization for the sake of upper management goals. Less units = more logistics while juggling daily tasks and endless new "reports" and trying to fulfill same demand with less resources.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Remember your roots and realize there are only 8 hrs in a work day and we can only do so much. Quit micro managing your employees with new reports and keep your office well staffed if you intend to keep pushing down all these new ground breaking, important tasks to your employees and want to keep your cherished numbers in the prime.
