I have been working at Pep Boys as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

the employees in the same boat you are in are actually very nice and make you feel like you are welcomed

    Cons

they have 5 different ways to calculate your pay. they always choose the one that pays the employee as little as possible. i worked 82 hours in the last 2 weeks staying very busy and racking up the flag hours...yet they found a way to pay me $412.00 for my 2 weeks pay. 206.00 dollars a week isnt going to feed my family

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

start caring about the people who are out in your stores keeping the money coming in. we are your bread and butter. and if you want to keep customers coming back, stop running your mechanics out by screwing them. customers trust the people with the dirty hands who fix their cars...not some smooth talking upper management person who really doesn't care about them or their needs

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
