I have been working at Pepsi Bottling

Pros

Balance of family/worklife is excellent

Cons

too much forced distribution. every time a new product comes out we unload as many cases as possible on our poor customers. some locations are ran like frat houses, all about who you know to get a promotion, not about performance. always thinking short term goals instead of long term gains.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

listen to the sells force. we are the ones out in the trade and know what our customers want.

I have been working at Pepsi Bottling

    Pros

Flexibility of schedule on a daily basis and the ability to work independently without constant supervision

    Cons

far too many hours spent on the job for the compensation given.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Scale the pay appropriate to the amount of work done, not based on what the competition is doing. Also individual performance reviews relevant to raises, not company performance.

I have been working at Pepsi Bottling

    Pros

Great starting salary. Good benifits health, dental, vision, 401K Solid stock performance. paid on the job training Class A CDL training

    Cons

Annual raises are a joke. I recievied a promotion and was asked to take a pay cut. Constantly understaffed. Similiar jobs in the area are higher paying

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep staffing levels higher and spend a couple extra dollars to compete for the best employees. Your competitors offer more money that you do
