No clear vision by upper management while treating the employees like crap and not listening to their ideas or input.

Pros

The pay is good but don't get comfortable. You won't enjoy it for too long.

Cons

Presentations worthless. Management only cares about themselves. Ideas fall on deaf ears. Care only for $ & who is accountable. Customer service is a lost art for them but it is definately a high end need for the full line vending they are failing at so brilliantly.

Advice to Management

Listen to the employees. Stop stabbing people in the back. Service their accounts should be their number one job. Not $$.........Good service will reward them with record profits but they need not worry about that. Full line vending will be lost soon.

    Pros

A steady paycheck; sometimes. They will take pay away from Sales Managers, drivers, and anyone who is in sales and someone screws up paperwork; they will deduct your pay and no one cares!!

    Cons

Being in sales; expect very long hours (6am to 6pm) and numerous calls after that (I have had them at 11 or 12 at night.) All other employees get paid holidays except sales; we had to work the Saturdays before, so you are not paid. Expect weekend phone calls if one of your 600 accounts is low on Mtn Dew; come on people it's soda!! Trucks are never loaded right and accounts start calling in; this is the worst paying and worst job I have ever had! You also have no family time or peace away from work; upper management can take all the time off work they want, but if you have a sick child "they think the woman should stay home." Well, if I made $200,000 a year my spouse could afford to stay home! They threaten your job on a daily basis, but they have no idea what is going on

    Advice to Management

Get some upper management that knows how to run a business and has common sense. Get someone that has people skills. The only reason this company is around is due to consumer demand to drink nasty Pepsi products. If the top 6 Managers (including the owners) in the company decided to start another company; say a fence company, they would go under in 3 months. They have no business concept of operations.

    Pros

    Great brands and nothing else.

    Cons

Private ownership. Owner and son, (Chairman and President) live in a bubble with no concept of reality on the street. Turnover is astronomical though ownership thinks it is in line. They have no concept of what is "normal" for a company their size. Chairman micro-manages everything nuance of the business never allowing his manager to participate in critical thinking. As an employee, having family is a negative as it is a distraction to working 20+ hours a day. If a family emergency should arise you may find yourself unemployed. Sales and operations do not get paid holidays off but rather have to make up a holiday on the next weekend.

    Advice to Management

Sell the business back to PepsiCo and retire in Florida. Do your employees a favor.
