I worked at PepsiCo full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

International travel in business class ( but this has been clamped down to very little now).
Learning about business operations in various countries. Good compensation due to 2 different bonus, Project and Company Wide annual bonus, much better bonus than consulting co's like IBM, Deloitte, Accenture

    Cons

original Center of Excellence players have left.. now largely populated by posers from North America. Good talent is all but gone. Everyone was way over worked, too many parallel projects with never any resource planning to match upcoming work to resource pool. Also you are either management layer or not and it was almost impossible to upgrade your HR level if you weren't management. Management was constantly upgrading themselves and the rest of the grunts had to be satisfied with 1% raises for doing incredible work, losing weekends and no bump up in HR grading after 3 years

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

talent retention is how you keep a true COE excellent
