Whereas the work is fairly manual and routine, the pay is good and you have 2 days off every week.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

If you get a good route, the pay can easily grow to 65,000 pa. As long as you get to start very early (4.00am), you can finish as early as you get done with your stores, as early as 11.30am. There are many other benefits like medical, 401K, sick leave, uniforms and a good work environment as long as you meet your targets.

Cons

Apart from the senior RSR's, it's hard to get your annual leave on suitable holidays.

    Pros

The chips and snacks that they sell here are delicious and tasty. Nothing beats Sweet Heat BBQ which I don thtink they make but still quality stuff here.

    Cons

A lot of times you just want to eat everything in sight. This can be a problem when you are trying to diet. Still it is ok.

I worked at PepsiCo as a contractor (More than a year)

    Pros

Smart people (atleast few of them), Great renovated Cafeteria, Work on different tools and software, some technical frameworks are advanced. Not many good things to say....

    Cons

Too much outsourcing in IT. They laid off a lot of people in Feb 2012 and brought a lot of people from India. The contractors were asked to join one of the outsourcing firms. Lot of good people left. My team upper management was a joke. I took upon a lot of work when some employees left but they never recognized the effort. There is not enough room in the plano office. Contractors and sometimes employees have to share cubicles.

    Advice to Management

    Take care of your employees
