Great experience, but the place is a sweat shop.

Pros

Great brands and the people that you will get to work with are some of the brightest minds in our field. Job security is also a plus - they rarely have layoffs that impact much of the marketing department and when they do have cuts, it's usually at the upper levels.

Cons

It's a win at all costs type of place and that means being willing to put in 12 hour workdays as junior marketer. Unfortunately, that is the norm and not the exception.

Advice to Management

When you evaluate your employees you preach the rhetoric of people-side objectives being 50% of your review and business-side objectives being the other 50%. How about looking at employees work/life balance through the same progressive lens... you have the opportunity to so much more than a sweatshop.

    Pros

Wages are decent and raises used to be. Benefits are ok but dwindling. Plenty of overtime for those that require it.

    Cons

Work life balance is non existent. Forced overtime and holidays at the last minute do not allow for any type of life outside work. Management treats employees like they are not wanted. Any legitimate issues are met with political circle talk. Constant change of management makes it impossible to have a working relationship with your supervisor.

    Advice to Management

You are pushing us away. Remember that people are a kpm.

    Pros

Its frito lay other than that not much

    Cons

Very company orientated, in a screw the employees kind of way. You work 55 to 60 hrs a week on a crappy commission of 11.25%. All routes are given on seniority no matter how crappy someone works. Everyone is so scared of getting hr called on them that you walk on pins and needles. Management allows store managers to treat you like crap, they never have your back.

    Advice to Management

    Back your employees up
