I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

You can make okay money without a college degree

    Cons

Ridiculous hours, Unqualified managers with attitudes. No reward for working hard except that you will be expected to do better next quarter.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management needs to figure out how to help RSRs out more. They need more help in the field and more incentive to work 60-70 hours a week. Management needs to realize you can only squeeze so much labor out of a person.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

As one of the largest CPG companies, there's a lot of opportunities for growth. One can change their geography or role fairly quickly and thus, gain a lot of experience in a short amount of time.

    Cons

Ideas are stifled and innovative teams and people not supported. If you don't like matrixed organizations, stay clear, because there's very little accountability and leadership. Rhetoric about "talent sustainability" and "cherishing people" is not backed up by actions either.
