    Pros

PepsiCo is a large organization with opportunities in nearly every state in the US, opportunities are endless.

    Cons

Some downsides are the worklife balance, the pay being middle of the road in comparison to other similar companies, and often times politics get in the way of making the best decisions.

I have been working at PepsiCo full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Very good salary if you're in IT. Opportunities for internal job transfers. Lots of international options. Pace of work is acceptable, but challenging at times.

    Cons

Fair amount of processes and controls impede quick changes - you must have patience to survive. Even though recent implementations of new technologies, still a lot of 20-30 year old systems.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Create a vision for the future for IT staffing. Too much noise from trying different approaches. Hire new graduates and internally build the next generation of leaders.
