Pros

The pay was fair and they trained me in everything I ever needed to know in the business. Good benefits. Local management is accessible, but you get to be fairly autonomous during the day.

Cons

Physically taxing. I ended up having to get a different job after my 3rd shoulder surgery. Since my location was a unionized one, they couldn't transfer me to a different job in the company and I had to start over elsewhere.

Advice to Management

Don't sacrifice the health of employees by constantly pushing more product onto trucks than can be handled. Make dispatch local again.

Mean Leads, confusing time keeping and mileage reimbursement.

    Advice to Management

    Open up.

  2. Quaker Oats Security Officer - Poor pay, dangerous working environment and discounted Pepsi products.

    Pros

A challenging job, interesting location, discounted Pepsi products, not an office job - you can to move around the largest cereal mill in the world.

    Cons

Extremely poor pay, dangerous environment, poor management. As a security officer, you will have no authority over the employees at all. The company doesn't follow its own rules, which includes the ones that help keep people safe. It can be extremely stressful.
