Equals parts hard workers and lazy individuals. However everyone is treated the same.

I have been working at Percepta full-time

Pros

Lots of time to interact with co-workers and share best practices. Managers for the most part have an open door policy and are easy to talk to

Cons

To my knowledge no one was ever fired. Which is sad since there are a lot of people who choose not to do their jobs and simply skate by.

    I worked at Percepta

    Pros

Excellent work / life balance. Complete control over scheduling days off, vacation etc. gain marketable professional experience as a Tier II (Customer Service Manager) representative.

    Cons

Unfortunately, the typical of what you read about most American companies; a complete lack of alignment with employees concerns, feelings, and perspective. Incompetent management, very dissatisfied employee base, perceived unfair promotions and lack thereof, impractical policy changes which fluctuates in effectiveness due the lack of input from the individuals who are working within the area directly affected.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

American business structure needs a paradigm shift. It is changing now but it maybe to late for most companies to adapt to the new shift in behavior from customers. Employee will take to social media sites to expose environment, treatment, and company operating habits to the world, which will directly affect public relations.

No advice because it essentially irrelevant. I approve of Rob Charma because Percepta definitely has a great culture in of itself, but implementation is a failure because the management does not share the same ideals as the company mission, in practice.

I have been working at Percepta

    Pros

Percepta has some good benefits such as tuition reimbursement, health care, 401k. It is a Monday to Friday call center with shifts start anywhere from 8 am to 11:30 am and the doors close at 8 pm. There are options to do a 10 hour 4 day a week work week but its not manditory.

    Cons

It is difficult to move into the higher paying positions if you do not have automobile industry experience regardless of how many years experience you have working in call center environments.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Happy employees are reliable employees. You need to start paying your existing employees better wages to compensate for the changes in gas prices, housing, groceries, child care. Hiring new employees and paying them slightly higher wages than existing employees is sending your reliable employees to find other work leaving your less experienced employees without adequate mentorship.
