4 of 4 people found this helpfulPros
The relationships I made with my peers.
Cons
A great raise is 3%, however in 2009 no raises were given.
85% of all work will be sent offshore to India, the Phillipines and soon to be China.
Having to train your offshore replacement and then be seperated from the company.
No communication from Senior Management.
Advice to Senior Management
Respect and listen to your associates. You will only be as successful as they make you!

Little did I know that thanks to the Dell deal, I'd get ZERO bonus. Understand - every company I've EVER worked at has prorated bonuses for workers who started during the year. Not Dell Perot!
Despite starting within the first 60 days of 2009, I got no bonus. Zero. Zip. Nada. Coworkers who had been lucky enough to start before Jan 1, 2009 got several thousand dollars. The executives who massaged this overpriced job shop over to Dell got massive bonuses.
I busted my hump for the client for ten months last year - and no bonus, despite the fact that Dell PerotSystems has things called "computers" which can calculate pro-rated bonuses.
Thanks for nothing PerotSystems! Can't wait to move on to a company in Silicon Valley that actually backs up all the rhetoric about and "taking care of associates".
Dell PerotSystems is nothing more than a job shop. If you're gonna look for work, look at smaller, local job shops, especially where government work is involved. DPS made close to a quarter-million dollars off of my back this year and can't pony up a few grand in bonus? Screw 'em - I'm going elsewhere.
Inappropriate?
