Former Employee - Senior Software Engineer in Pune (India)
Former Employee - Senior Software Engineer in Pune (India)

I worked at Persistent Systems (India) full-time (more than 3 years)

Pros

Decent work culture, defined workstyle, lot to learn from experienced people around

Cons

not so good mid management, lobby of employees from a certain company, some really very unfriendly policies.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

1) Stop copying policies from big companies like Infy
2) Revive the ethics laid by Anand, Dada as they are more fruitful than current policy making style
3) Give employees a feeling of "ownership" and not usual management jargon lectures from project managers
4) Diversify thought and not just propagate a particular community or religious beliefs and functions. I know the employees would understand this point.

Recommends
Positive Outlook
Approves of CEO

    Pros

You may get to learn a thing or two.
You may find the facilities for Support Projects interesting.
Development Projects of a few clients are good.
The support hub being created is all about politics and drama.

    Cons

    Politics for KRA, Promotions, Work.
    Work ethics are floor functioned.
    Very few development opportunities.
No recognition of hard work or results you produce, someone else up the hierarchy will always take all the credits away from you.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start interacting with employees at the bottom level before you lose them all.

    Doesn't Recommend
