Pros – Pfizer pays well and has a really good benefits package. Each year it does seem that the benefits are rolled back a bit though. Since the company is so large, you have access to some great tools to do your job, and a big global network of committed individuals with whom you can work. If you have a co-operative manager, you can have quite a bit of flexibility in how you get your job done, provided you show results.

Cons – Oh, the reorgs.... You have to have pretty thick skin to try and ignore the rumors that start flying every year or so. It is painful, disheartening and unmotivating. You really can't become emotionally attached to your job, but perhaps that is just the way all businesses are these days.

Advice to Senior Management – I have been impressed by the efforts of the lower and mid level managers to make Pfizer a good place to work. I think they care about the work environment--but not at the expense of their own employment. I feel that the corporate level management is completely out of touch.
