I have been working at PharMerica full-time for more than 3 years

Pros

M-F 8-4:30 schedule, decent hardware

Cons

Mandatory overtime twice a month early in the week, but management makes you leave early on Friday so you lose your overtime. No support from HR when an issue arises. Poor management, terrible pay, and expensive insurance.

    I worked at PharMerica part-time

    Pros

    Reps brought free food
    Close to home

    Cons

    Filthy conditions in pharmacy
    Poor professional behavior among staff- gossip/talk about others- made it so sad to work there
    No training for many parts of jobs
    No floor supervisor- everyone was told conflicting info

    Fire trouble makers
    Clean all areas from top to bottom-esp floors/counters shelves

    Pros

    Nice co workers. Long term prospects for this area of health care are encouraging. Increasing numbers for potential customers. Also has benefitted from wave of brands going generic

    Cons

    Senior managment has shown poor ability to develop or communicate forward strategy. Their business philosophy is extremely reactive and unfriendly to customers. They also treat employees poorly

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Develop plan and stick with it. Too many initiatives started, stopped, restarted and ultimately dropped. Also, communicate mission to employees, exec leadership is extremely isolated and distrusted.
