Pros

Stable #2 in the long term care market. Never dull since they do a lot of volume. Reasonable salary with medium level benefits.

Cons

Lazy co-workers due to constant work load and no incentive for advancement. Management shows very little concern about patient care but lots of focus about the bottom line. License is on the line.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Middle management is lazy and show no concern about patients, workers or regulations. If you like all of the fines and whistle blowers that Omnicare gets keep doing what you are doing.

    Pros

    Best reason to work for this company is the insurance coverage you receive.

    Cons

    The point system. NO ONE can help being late for work if they are in an accident, have a child that gets sick and has to be taken to the doctor, gets a flat tire, your house catches fire....does not matter you get a point. And then certain people are exempt, while others are not. Some pharmacies only work certain hours while others are open all the time. If some pharmacies have to work holidays...ALL PHARMERICA should have to work holidays. Pay is really crappy for what all you are responsible for. Not able to order meds and THAT hurts the facilities residents. Corporate does not have to explain why the med did not get sent. HR needs tweaking...BAD! The HR personal should be for the employee not the employer!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Look at what is going on with your pharmacies. Facilities build confidence with people who have been there for a long period of time. NOT ANY MORE! No one stays in employment very long anymore, to much turnover. Start taking care of the employees again.
