To be employed. Unfortunately, there are very few opportunities to be promoted. Generally they prefer to hire from outside rather to promote from inside. One of the best options to move ahead is to move to another company.
Cons
Talent is not always recognized. Creativity is not encouraged.
Advice to Senior Management
Make an effort to recognize and retain employees who demonstrate talent and leadership skills.
