I worked at Phonevalley full-time for more than a year

Pros

They are part of the Publicis organization.

Cons

The CEO and US Managing Director are back stabbers.
I was hired after being asked questions like "do you have any children?"
They hire to fire. I didn't know when I was hired that the plan was to fire me.
Employees HATE working there.

Phonevalley is a hierarchical "political" organization with an authoritarian work environment.

    I worked at Phonevalley full-time

    Pros

Learn from the experience. You can get a better job somewhere else in the future, it couldn't get any worse than PV.

    Cons

    See title.
Upper managers are incompetent and ignorant.
Ridiculous workloads due in ridiculous time frames.
My manager would agree with everything, meanwhile he destroyed staff engagement (and caused lost of experienced staff), lost accounts, etc.
Stifled employees unable to show what they're truly capable of because of tyrannical managers who resent competent employees and are afraid that if they do, they will show them up.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take full responsibility for the colossal failures. The best advice for the management is to resign and never ever harm any other company.

I worked at Phonevalley full-time for less than a year

    Pros

You can put mobile on your resume however they don't really do much other than repurpose work from other agencies.
The younger staff members are eager to learn.

    Cons

The head of US operations actually asked us how to program his Galaxy III phone.
They don't know anything about responsive web design and are not working towards it as a future solution in mobile. <meaning: they are going backwards>
From the time I started to now at least 10-12 people left or were let go. They hire based on the amount of work coming in. If they lose that business as they hire you, they will let you go for no reason other than they couldn't retain the business.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Everyone is quitting or moving on. You're consistently losing business. That should speak volumes but only falls on deaf ears.
