No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Physio-Control full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Great internship program with an emphasis on a summer long project

Cons

Tough for a graduated senior to get hired on right after your internship. Its best if you have a few more quarters of school left so they can get a position lined up for you.

I have been working at Physio-Control full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Honorable company mission, Very nice facility, many temporary jobs available.

    Cons

Still recovering from critical mistakes made by management which caused FDA consent decree lasting 2 years, and from narrowing of company focus by Medtronic, acquisition of company by Bain

    Advice to Management

Do what you say you do. The develop new technologies. Too many employees do not share knowledge for personal reasons. Do something about it.

  2. Honesty is a Joke - Promises are broken - PIPs are common - Stay Away

    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Good Product, Life Saving Products and good and talented team members.

    Cons

No path to progress. Promises are made and are broken easily from the managers. PIPs are normal way of doing business. No respect within the team members because of competition. Manager keep pushing people and burn people out. Quality Management Treats Engineers like Dirt. Middle managers are competing among themselves and keep sacrificing the individual contributors.

    Advice to Management

Develop talent and stop burning people.
