    Pros

There are some wonderful employees sprinkled throughout the organizations 600+ physical therapy clinics. Unfortunately they are in a sinking ship.

    Cons

A private equity driven organization that possesses zero industry knowledge in senior management and has pursued illegitimate and, perhaps, fraudulent practices that have destroyed the company. The recent acquisition by private equity firm Court Square was based upon inflated revenues that are now being evaluated and discovered. The lenders are calling the shots now. Court Square should take legal action against Water Street and Wind Point for their inflation of operating results. This will not end well. Run.

The decision by Peter Limeri, former CFO, to outsource all revenue cycle functions to Inventurus Knowledge Systems (IKS) based in Mumbai, India in 2010 was a horrible blunder. Mr. Limeri did not have any a basic understanding of healthcare insurance billing and reimbursement and made this stragetic error without consulting ANY of his senior revenue cycle staff. His first task after joining the company in 2009 was to terminate his very talented VP of Revenue Cycle without even meeting her. He proceeded to run roughshod over his entire organization then "re-badged" them as employees of the Indian company also managed by incompetence. Within 90 days of the oursourcing 300 US-based revenue cycle employees were terminated and the work shifted to Mumbai, India to be handled by employees with 2 months' experience earning $1.00 - $2.00 per hour. Within 3 months of this fatal decision cash collections had dropped 40%.
