Former Employee – worked at Picture Me Portrait Studios
Pros – I really enjoyed working with the children. Even in a bad mood they are still so lntertaining. The hours aren't bad. Not too early, not too late. I enjoyed developing relationships with my customers.
Cons – 4 years ago the co. decided to not give ANY raises anymore. Then a couple years ago took away commissions as well. Every co. gives at least a token yearly raise.
Outreach expectations are completely unreachable. We should not be expected to run the studios and do the marketing and promotions.
They keep trotting out "bonus" plans that are anything but, we have to have at least so possibility of getting the bonus for it to have any effect on the effort we put forth.
Advice to Senior Management – Stop trying to motivate with threats and negative reinforcement. Give yearly raises. Bring back commission and/or make bonuses attainable
You stated in your latest bonus plan that it is designed to retain employees, well $10.00 or $12.00 a month at best is not enough to retain anyone.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
