“Pier 1”
Current Employee – been working at Pier 1 Imports part-time for less than a year
Pros – Great merchandise! I have great co-workers and like the positive atmosphere.
Cons – Pay is horrible, and they expect pretty open availability for meetings, floorsets, etc. which is hard for single parents, those with other jobs, and students who have to be bright-eyed after working on setting the floor until 2:00 am. This is a place for a job until you can find a career.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
