Pros

Mid size company, very lean, very stable job provided you do your job and work hard, compensation and benefits are comparable for area

Cons

Little guidance given and no training whatsoever - HR doesn't even have a standard list of the expected responsbilities for each position
Those that are "in" with certain members of management will move up quickly and easily; the rest are left banging their heads against the wall
HR seems to have NO interest in employees happiness or well being -- it's a very unhappy environment yet HR does not try to foster any sense of team or community
Upper management tells you they're going treat you like adults when it comes to your free time but this is not instilled in/communicated to mid level managers because most are all about face time
Upper Management is completely out of touch with what is really going on
If the economy were better, there'd be a ton of turnover
