Pros

I joined at a time when the company seemed quite dynamic and respected. But that changed over the past 3 years.

Cons

Lack of respect for the staff, widespread problems with morale and high staff turnover. Stress, fatigue and burn-out.

Advice to Management

Pioneer Global Investments must learn to value its staff. Also middle management need to be trained to respect their staff - a clue would be to have a look at those who loose staff regularly. These problems existed before the current Investment banking crisis.

I worked at Pioneer Investment Management full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

--Great Training program --Excellent systems used to process and review client information --Management+HR always available to assist and answer questions --Company truly invests in everybody who is hired

    Cons

--Little immediate reward for doing well in this role, and since it can be difficult to move up in company, this can be somewhat disheartening and unexciting --No flexibility on calls when providing customer support (Very scripted, almost robotic) --Hours exceptionally long for draining work on busy days --Team-building and bonding exercises were more miss-than-hit

    Advice to Management

You're doing the most with what you can, and are very understanding of all the sentiments of the CSR department, so no real practical advice to give.
