Pros

Company offers good work life balance, good benefits, decent compensation, flexibility to work from home as long as work gets done.

Cons

There is no career growth as company is struggling. Minimum salary raises even if you work very hard and get a good year end review.

    Pros

    They have a great benefits package.

    Cons

    Recruited me based on technical skills and then placed me in a very monotonous and non technical job

    Treat people like adults and with respect and they will work for you.

    Pros

    Distributed teams a plus if you enjoy working on global teams
    Good benefits package with the ability to purchase extra vacation days
    Highest 401k matches I've seen with any company
    The parent company, PB seems remarkably ethical
    PB is trying to innovate and transform and redefine itself
    Many people seem to work remotely and enjoy that

    Cons

    Constant restructuring and many people leaving
    Most new hires are in India
    Products are specialized B2B stuff you will never actually use and might not understand
    It remains to be seen if PB can transform
    "cool" factor from MapInfo days gone
