I have been working at Pitney Bowes full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

Pay was good a decade ago. Work is steady. Good job security. If you like overtime, be careful what you ask for.

Cons

Pay for new hires is insulting - especially considering the skill level required for the job. I have been working at Pitney Bowes full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

At one time it was a technology and innovation leader. Work was interesting and challenging. The company was very good about recognizing individuals for their contributions.

    Cons

The last 5 years or so only a half heated attempt was made to compete with digital mail and billing resulting in a dramatic decline in business, The end result was a severe cut back in IR&D funding and massive ongoing layoffs.

    Advice to Management

Concentrate on new technology and growth instead of sacrificing product development and talented people for short term stock dividends
