I worked at Pitney Bowes full-time
Pros – Name recognition of company was a plus, telecommute a plus, resume builder possibilities.
Cons – 1) Insulting pay
2) Unbelievably hostile, insulting on boarding process
3) Sleazy business practices during interview process
4) Tired old company in a dead industry with no plan on how to get out, weighed down by wasteful counterproductive bureaucracy rife with unprofessionalism
Advice to Senior Management – Re-examine how you attract and compensate talent. Talent is the only thing that can save PB and their present process is hostile towards talent.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
