Hard to move up because so many people enjoy working at PB. Relocation is tough too.

I have been working at Pitney Bowes full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Like working for the USPS, you can hide under the shadows of a dysfunctional business, hopping it will survive to the day you retire

    Cons

    - Very low pay compared to pay for similar functions in similar organizations and within the same region
    - Most employees lack motivation and basic competencies + you will meet many employees who have been burried in the same role for over 20 years
    - No merit based raises this year and not expected the next year
    - Extremely bureaucratic; outdated processes across all departments + tons of printed papers everywhere
    - Hospital type food in the cafeteria
    - To much efforts wasted on politics, which typically the case in any large organization; however, other organizations pay at least 50%+ higher wages; efforts spent on politics is not worth it

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Raise employee morals, raise pay and invest in training

    Negative Outlook
    Approves of CEO
