Pros

Great salary and benefits. Work-life balance was exceptional. Ethical in their business dealings. Company managed cash flow wisely. Coworkers were great. The company was doing the right things to remain afloat by eliminating expensive processes.

Cons

Slow to react to changing market conditions. Some of the leadership had been there awhile and managed the company like it was during its prime.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pitney Bowes is a market leader in a shrinking industry. The question is where is the industry headed. There will always be a place for mail, but not like it was.

Great people to work with..good benefits...Lucky to have a good manager.

    Cons

No room for growth...micromanaged work, sustainability of business in question. Employee to work ratio not managed well.

    Pros

Many good people, working hard to achieve success, willing to welcome anyone who can help and add a level of expertise not otherwise present.

    Cons

The company is in a dying market and not doing well with a series of layoffs going back a few years. They have not been able to re-invent themselves yet.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Trust and listen to your people, cut failed programs and either buy a growing company that needs an infusion of capital to succeed or look long and hard at the marketplace, with assistance from talented consultants, to determine what new products/product areas to pursue.
