I have been working at Pitney Bowes as a contractor (less than an year)

Pros

The atmosphere is laid back and cool. It's like no other warehouse I've ever been in. We can listen to music and and pitch in lunches.

Cons

The only thing I would change is the pay. It is a little low but it is not hard work.

I worked at Pitney Bowes full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Transportation supervisor was very fair to his workers. The work itself was not strenuous. I really enjoyed my position with this company.

    Cons

No communication from corporate to employees. Unfair terminations. Wages below expectations. Corporate gave absolutely no incentives to employees.. Lunch room was 3 vending machines. You would think coffee would be available.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

COMMUUNICATE!!! Pay employees what they are worth. Practice fair and lawful workplace. Give at least one warning before termination and have the courage to speak one on one with employees. Stop hiding in the background.

I worked at Pitney Bowes full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

The people in the organization are for the most part extremely hard working and dedicated. The benefit package is in line with what you would expect to receive at a company this size.

    Cons

Management was always focused on short term current quarter objectives without having a vision for where the company would be in the longer term. The work/life balance is non existent.
