I worked at Pitney Bowes

Pros

Long history and brand shorten the cycle to get new meetings
Stamford executives actually believe in what they are doing

Cons

The MapInfo and G1 merger has been challenging, and the cultures were never able to vibe because the MapInfo team was put in all but two leadership roles. The compensation plan has been artfully dissected to the point that it is a joke among many.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Ben Semmes will make a fine CEO and give the company a chance to succeed.

    Pros

Being able to schedule your day is a great benefit but we may be changing to a new sytem soon that will not allow us to do that anymore. .

    Cons

The workload is large for the time/space required and the mileage reimbursements is about average.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It is getting harder to work at a high level when the only folks getting raises for the last two years are management. Need more communication during the transformation of the business.
