Pizza Hut – “Good Pay, Poor Management”
Pros
The pay is decent, and if you're not qualified to do anything else, or you're just looking for a second job or a job to work while you're in school, you could do worse.
Cons
Most employee concerns are ignored by upper management, and pressure is put on store General Managers to conform to irrational measures for driving profit. Many members of store management are not qualified to lead a team of competent employees. Most employee concerns go unnoticed and unaddressed. Very high turnover rate, so employees with several years of experience are not valued. Pay is bi-weekly. Emergency absences are not accomodated.
Advice to Senior Management
More reliable process for promoting General Managers, add an internal protocol for addressing individual employee concerns.
