Using your own vehicle to deliver.
Drivers hourly pay is around $4, so you depend heavily on tips.

Dead end job.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management in the store was fine. I'm just dissatisfied with corporations taking advantage of low paid employees. I worked at this location for just over 2 years, and never once was given a raise. I don't think anyone in the whole store was given any pay increase. The job was a dead end that was destroying my car just so i could get by.

I have been working at Pizza Hut full-time

    Pros

    - Good management structure and theory
    - very focused on internal development
    - consistent follow-up

    Cons

    - Crew level employees needs are often neglected
    - accelerated promotion schedule, while beneficial at times, leads to poor leadership at other times
    - lack of avenues of communication from the bottom to the top
    - union busters

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Happy employees work harder, there needs to be more of a sense of care regarding the opinions and condition of hourly crew members. Readily available health insurance and vacation time is a huge plus, but there is a general feeling that upper management does not care about the lower level employees. Could be a region specific issue, but if the company values and CHAMPS culture were actually implemented, not just talked about and forced into existing behavior in lieu of improving it, things would run much more smoothly at the restaurant level.

I have been working at Pizza Hut part-time

    Pros

Being a server at Pizza Hut is overall a good, steady part time job. The atmosphere is very casual and it is a family oriented style restaurant. One huge pro is that you get to keep all of your tips you earned.

    Cons

Side work, side work, side work. Hours can fluctuate but that is to be expected within the restaurant industry. People do not usually tip very high because let's face it, it's Pizza Hut. It can be hard to balance work and whatever else you have going on; expect to get called in on your days off-- a lot. It's easy to get burned out rather quickly. Don't expect to be full time as a server,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

spend more time properly training all employees
