Current Employee - Pizza Deliver Driver in Carson, CA
Current Employee - Pizza Deliver Driver in Carson, CA

I have been working at Pizza Hut part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Gain the knowledge of experience by cutting, and delivering the pizza.
In the store by assisting the team member and manager with kitchen duties, including dishwashing.

Cons

The disadvantage of understanding, due to the lack of my hearing loss.

Advice to Management

Keep an eye out on the receipt before delivering the pizza.
Anything goes with the lack of delivery or the customer at their location, call the pizzahut before returning the store.

    Pros

None that I can think of

    Cons

Expected to do the job of 4 people, no benefits besides 4 dollars off a meal, no breaks, long shifts, very little dine-in so terrible tips, terrible clientele, no more than 29 hours a week so they can't offer us insurance

    Advice to Management

Stop understaffing us. I worked at a store that averaged a million dollars a year. I would say the amount of money that went to the actual employees, the price of the food, etc, was about 110,000 dollars. The rest went to corporate. And they make sure that people can't get any benefits. Stop pretending your food is fast food. It's not. It's quality and good, but you can't run the place like a fast food place or you'll attract the customers of fast food places and you'll have employees that hate you.

    Pros

The employees are nice people to work with most of the time.

    Cons

No breaks, raise was minimal, upper management can't do the jobs that actually make the store run, corporate is not innovative.

    Advice to Management

You should treat shift leaders better considering they do the brunt of the workload.
